A Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting meals that meet the quality standards of the establishment. This role involves following recipes, managing ingredients, ensuring cleanliness, and collaborating with kitchen staff to deliver a positive dining experience. Ideal candidates have a passion for culinary arts, excellent time management skills, and a strong commitment to food safety.
Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation – Prepare ingredients, follow recipes, and cook meals according to specified methods, ensuring taste, texture, and presentation meet established standards.
- Kitchen Maintenance – Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by regularly sanitizing cooking stations, equipment, and utensils.
- Inventory Management – Monitor and restock ingredients, assist with ordering, and minimize food waste.
- Quality Control – Consistently monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring every dish meets the establishment’s standards before serving.
- Food Safety Compliance – Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure safe food handling and prevent contamination.
- Collaboration – Work efficiently with other kitchen staff, including sous chefs and line cooks, to ensure smooth and timely service.
Requirements:
- With hygiene certificate is an advantage
